The full form of SEO is Search Engine Optimization. SEO is all about optimizing a website for search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing etc.. If a website is properly optimized , then search engines can easily crawl that website and can get rank on organic or un-paid search engine result pages (SERPs). In short, SEO is the process of getting organic or free traffic from search engines.

So, why is it important for your business website to be listed on search engines?

When you want a product or service, where do you look first? The 100% answer is in “search engine”. The majority of web traffic is driven by the major commercial search engines – Google, Bing and Yahoo! Although social media and other types of traffic can generate visits to your website, search engines are the primary method of navigation for most Internet users.
